The Heart Behind
Venue on the Rocks

A cozy wooden cabin surrounded by colorful autumn trees with orange, yellow, and green leaves, a stone pathway leading to the entrance, and outdoor string lights, with a sign that says 'ICE' outside.

Family-owned and operated,
we’ve created a place where every moment
feels unforgettable.

From quality coffee and handcrafted cocktails to our duck pond and the peaceful flow of the Big Thompson River, everything we do is rooted in one simple belief: people deserve a space that helps them slow down, connect, and celebrate the moments that matter.

Our story began in 2007 with Coffee on the Rocks. We wanted to build a cozy spot where locals and visitors could enjoy a warm drink, watch the wildlife wander by, and take in the beauty of Estes Park. Coffee on the Rocks became a gathering place, a pause in the day, and a reminder of how special it is to enjoy the mountains with loved ones.

This space quickly grew just as dear to our visitors’ hearts as it did our own. People kept asking if they could host events here to celebrate life’s biggest moments. In 2022, we made it happen. Venue on the Rocks was born to celebrate with warmth, ease, and natural beauty that turns celebrations into unforgettable memories.

No matter what you’re celebrating with us, we look forward to helping you feel calm, cared for, and completely ready to enjoy your day.

“We’ve loved Coffee on the Rocks as a coffee shop for years, so we were thrilled to host our wedding celebration there — and it completely exceeded expectations. The space is beautifully designed — simple yet magical — and the setting, especially in the fall, is absolutely stunning.

The entire team was so helpful throughout the planning and booking process, and a special shoutout to Lydia, who went above and beyond on the day of to make sure everything went smoothly. She was so kind and attentive, and we couldn’t have asked for better support. The bartenders were also fantastic and kept the evening fun and relaxed. We’re so grateful for such a wonderful experience and can’t recommend this venue highly enough!”

“We said 'I do' at Wedding on the Rocks, and it was everything I ever dreamed it would be! I absolutely adored Lydia, our day-of coordinator. She was wonderful with communication, taking the time to hop on the phone with me several times to help me organize everything (we live in Ohio and planned from afar). On the wedding day itself, she was so kind, calm, and sweet, making the whole experience feel stress-free. Thanks to her, our day went seamlessly, and I truly didn’t have to worry about a thing. I’m so grateful we had her on our team! The venue was stunning, and it couldn't have gone better.
